A warm welcome to New Brighton Catholic School (Mary Immaculate) - a state-integrated Catholic primary school that caters for children from New Entrants to Year 8 based in the seaside suburb of New Brighton, Christchurch. Founded by the Mission Sisters (RNDM), our school builds on the history and heritage through our virtues of Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus.
At NBC, we strive to develop the whole child - physically, academically, spiritually and socially and emotionally. High standards of personal integrity are encouraged, and a strong cultural and social awareness and concern for others is expected. Our committed and dedicated staff care for and nurture all children in a family-like atmosphere where every student is known and valued. As a school, we strive to create a positive and safe learning environment where all students are encouraged to seek their personal best. Being part of the Manaiakalani network of schools, our staff creatively embed digital technology to enhance and support the face-to-face learning experience of our students.
